Bike Concerts
And that's exactly what it is. Artists on wheels.
A concert like you've never experienced before. We don't just put a band on a stage and expect you to stand around. We pull talented musicians behind a bike and expect you to follow!
What do we actually do?
We pull music stages behind cargo bikes with live musicians! You ride with us on your own bike and listen through our wireless headphones. It's different, it's unique, it's strange, but it's so much fun.
When?
Sundays, with 2 concerts per event day.
Please note: It is important to be on time, at least 15 minutes BEFORE the start. The meeting point is outside the secure airport area and you will be taken to your check-in gate in groups.
If you arrive late, you will unfortunately not be able to participate.
What kind of music?
The genre is not important to us – the main thing is that the band is good. We have for you..
Duration & length:
Each concert lasts approx. 75 minutes in total, including breaks for photos and rest.
The total length is approx. 8 km. Sounds like a lot? Don't worry – we only ride at approx. 11 km/h. You can easily manage 8 km!
Language:
The moderation is in German and English. The language of the concert depends on the artists.
Weather:
Unfortunately, these concerts are very weather dependent. This means that sometimes we have to improvise and remain flexible. In the event of continuous rain, we will unfortunately have to cancel. However, in our experience, weather forecasts are also very unreliable. We will therefore only make a final decision on the day of the event. This will be communicated by email. Please check your inbox before setting off... no email, no cancellation!
Location:
We will be riding on the former TEGEL Airport, which is closed to the public.
The meeting point for the tours is in front of security and near the ‘Urban Tech Republic’ bus stop (the last stop on bus line 109).. Calculate the route HERE.
You will then be taken to the check-in gate in groups.
People often think that Tegel is miles away...
But don't forget: you can take bikes on the S-Bahn!
From S+U Jungfernheide, it's a leisurely 15-minute bike ride to the meeting point.
Want to take part but don't have a bike?
For anyone who doesn't have their own bike but would still like to take part, we have a small number of bikes available to ‘rent’ on site. There is a separate ticket for this: Premium Economy (including bike).

These concerts are full of surprises and are something you won't soon forget.
And as if that wasn't exciting enough - the "venue" for this unique experience is the runway of the former Tegel International Airport - actually closed to the public, we have the opportunity to experience it exclusively. For more information about the location, click HERE

How far is Tegel really?
Here are a few travel options so you can take off relaxed:
🚲 By bike (recommended!):
* Directly from your home, however you like.
* Or: public transportation + bike.
→ Destination: Jungfernheide S-Bahn station (RE4, RB10, RB14, RB21, Ringbahn S41 & S42, and U7)
→ Then: cycle 2.8 km to the gate.
✈️ Shuttle service: FOLLOW ME!
For the next two flight days (July 6 & August 7), we're here for you if you don't want to cycle alone.
We'll wait for you at Jungfernheide station and head to the departure gate together – that's the first tour of the day.

If there is enough interest, we will extend the offer to include additional dates.
Can I manage all that pedaling?
Of course you can!
Our traveling speed: 11 km/h
Total length: 7 km
Plus: Two short breaks. Easy.
I don't have a bike, or it's broken
We have a solution!
New offer: The Premium Economy Ticket (participation + bike included)
Procedure: → Book your ticket (Premium Economy category) → Come to the starting point → Grab a bike → Start pedaling, listen, and enjoy.
How to get to the meeting point without a bike:
→ (S) Jungfernheide or (U) Jakob-Kaiser-Platz
→ then bus line 109 to Urban Tech Republic (last stop)
⏱️ Travel time: approx. 7 minutes
⚠️ Important: The bus occasionally suffers from jet lag. It's better to take an earlier one.
IMPORTANT
THE SITE IS PARTIALLY A MILITARY RESTRICTED AREA.
THE GROUP MAY NOT BE LEFT AT ANY TIME.
IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO LEAVE THE ASPHALTED PATHS.
If you do not follow these rules, you will be removed from the premises by security personnel.
Fitness & Charging:
The route extends to just under 8 km. A basic fitness is assumed. especially if you come with rollerblades / roller skates. But we will have a short break in the middle. E-bikes / scooters should still have at least this amount of kilometers of battery capacity.
Bike Maintanance:
You should be able to ride a bike or similar safely, but your bike should also be roadworthy. A bike breakdown during the tour should be avoided in advance at all costs, as it ties up security personnel.
Photos:
As stated above, you must stay with the group at all times. This means stopping to take photos is NOT permitted unless we say so. Don't worry, we have 2 planned photo stops along the way! You are also welcome to take photos or film while riding, but please be careful.
Weather:
It can get quite hot on the runway when the sun is shining. Check the weather in advance and prepare accordingly. In case of rain, we will decide depending on the situation. In case of continuous rain, we will cancel the event.
Children:
Children are only allowed to ride along if they can keep up with the group and follow the rules. Parents are responsible for their children. We recommend that all children under the age of 12 ride with their parents in a cargo bike or trailer, but the decision is up to you! If you are unsure, contact us: psst@silentmove.berlin
Other:
All participating guests must wear a safety vest. Please bring one with you. If you don't have one, ask your friends (every car has one) or contact us - we have a small number available on site.
You are not required to wear a helmet.
