Ohrenzirkus

The ‘Ohrenzirkus’ is no ordinary team event: instead of PowerPoint and small talk, you and your team will experience an interactive story together – fun, surprising and guaranteed to be unforgettable.

Using silent disco headphones, you will follow instructions and become the main characters in a group adventure where teamwork works without words. In a humorous interplay of facial expressions, movement and non-verbal communication, you will immerse yourself in another world and only realise during the course of the 15 to 25-minute story that two groups represent different perspectives.

Our format is ideal as a team-building event, a creative activity for Christmas parties and summer festivals, or as an icebreaker for workshops.

We currently have 3 different (german language) stories to choose from.

Musik Quiz.png

Music Quiz

Stationary or on the go – but always entertaining!

Compete against each other in teams to guess song titles and artists. There are real prizes to be won, but the real goal of the game is teamwork and fun in a group.

We have several rounds with games such as ‘Backwards Remix’, ‘Song Burger’, ‘Give Me 5’ and ‘What Came First?’. Give your event the charm of a retro TV show! The teams use a web app as a buzzer. The event is hosted by an entertaining presenter and accompanied by sound effects and lighting.

It's like a pub quiz – only more entertaining, interactive and much funnier!

  • In teams of 4 to 8 players

  • Up to a maximum of approx. 100 people in total

Beer Yoga

A heart-warming flow of sun salutations and sips – stretch, breathe deeply and raise your beer for inner balance. Namaste and cheers!

A tongue-in-cheek journey into the world of self-discovery and enlightenment.

With a drink in hand (non-alcoholic is just as good!), our guru will guide you through a series of stretches and poses to align your chakras and connect you with your inner self – and your beer.

  • The number of participants depends on the amount of space available.

  • Currently only available in English

Silent Concerts

Live music right in your ears

We have the technology, know-how and experience to organise all kinds of silent concerts. From solo singer-songwriters on stage to entire bands on mobile stages driving across an abandoned runway (seriously – check out ArtistsOnWheels!).

We've even hidden musicians among the guests at an event and organised a surprise flash mob-style concert. Anything is possible!

If you can imagine it, we'll find a way to make it happen!

Zeitreise 3.jpg

Zeitreise Tours

With ‘Time Travel: Mitte,’ we offer a two-hour informative historical tour of Berlin, similar to the well-known city walking tours. The difference? We use immersive 3D sound effects and soundscapes to transport listeners back to the time when history was made. With original quotes, appropriate music and realistic sound effects. These are city tours like you've never experienced before.

Perfect for larger corporate events where employees from across the country or around the world are visiting and want to learn more about the German capital.

We currently offer the tour in English and German and are working on several additional languages as well as child-friendly channels.

Audio Installations

‘Jesus Looking for a Flat’ or customised audio installations

Jesus and his friends receive a letter in the post. Their rent is going up and they can no longer afford their shared flat in Neukölln. The search for a new flat begins – a problem that not even Jesus can solve!

‘Jesus Looking for a Flat’ is a 7-part story and audio installation (in german) that is ideal as part of a larger event programme.

We can also create individual stories or historical audio installations for company anniversaries or other milestones. Do you have an idea? Let's talk about it and see what we can put together!

Technikverleih

For small to medium-sized events in and around Berlin

Rental is not our main business – we prefer to organise events ourselves! But when we don't need our equipment, you are welcome to use it. We have...

  • 2-, 3- and 5-channel headphones

  • a small PA for loud events

  • Various audio equipment for small stationary or mobile concerts or events

  • Event lighting

  • Various event decorations, props and objects, such as a revolving stage and a faithful replica of the Brandenburg Gate!

  • Mobile bar equipment including a fully functional beer bike!

Just ask!

Mix&Match package for larger corporate events or parties:

When the term "headphone event" is used, most people think of a silent disco - people dancing to music that others can't hear. It's something other people do - a thing they've heard of but never tried for themselves.

For us, it's much more than that.

It's a gateway to a whole new world of possibilities. It's a way to send specific sounds to specific people at specific times. It's a way to create new venues where loud events would never be allowed. It's a way to change the way we experience sound, events, and the world around us.

Headphone events bring people together and create shared moments that simply aren't possible in other environments. These moments are what we care about. The shared experiences that are only possible through something unique and different.

why silent.move?

Not all event organisers are the same, but why would you want to work with us?

We are experienced: silent.move has been organising unique headphone events in Europe since 2013.

We are unique: our events are one of a kind. Literally.

Some of our past events included:

  • strapping a drummer and his e-drum kit to the roof of a van so that he could be seen over the fence of a venue and driven into position as a surprise

  • inventing a story about Jesus looking for a new apartment in Neukölln after a rent increase

  • taking groups on a 3D audio walk through an abandoned amusement park while interacting with an imaginary ghost

  • and, of course, regularly taking live musicians on a ride along the former Tegel runway and playing a concert - literally the ONLY concert series of its kind in the world!

We are neighbourhood friendly: Headphone Event does not always mean Silent Event, but we have the ability and flexibility to perform events in places where noise is not allowed. For example, for venues that are heavily affected by noise protection measures, e.g. in nature reserves, we can book musicians who play fully electronic instruments (i.e. completely silent acoustically) and replace regular applause with sign language. In this respect, our concerts can be almost completely silent.

We are connected: Geordie has over 10 years of professional experience in the Berlin music scene, Hayco over 20 years of professional experience in the tourism and event industry. Combined with regular attendance at industry events and trade shows and a high reputation in the ‘silent’ event landscape in Germany, we are able to work with partners to achieve highly professional results.

We think of the people who experience the event: We want to help you create something special, something that sets you apart from the crowd. But that means you have to create events not for yourself, but for the people you offer them to. They are the ones who experience them, and therefore they are the ones for whom we design our activities.
