A fun and interactive audio experience for families in Britzer Garten!

This self guided audio walk encourages families to explore one of Berlin's most beautiful public parks. Using geo-located sound, and immersive audio, it invites visitors to Britzer Garten to discover and interact with the imaginary characters who live there.

Enjoy a story told by Tulipina the Garden Fairy, help the forgetful Witch Isolde create her newest potion, or step into the land of the Dwarfs with Gundrik the elder.

All you need is a GPS capable device such as a smartphone or tablet, preferrably with a charged battery. Then scan the code below or click HERE to download the App and start the tour!

What is it, actually?
The Children's Audio Walk is a self-guided, interactive, geolocalised sound walk in the Britzer Garden. The experience is free with park admission and is provided via the Echoes.xyz app. Simply download the app from the link above and start the walk, either in streaming or download mode. (Please note: in our experience, network coverage is pretty good throughout the park, so it doesn't really matter which option you use).
The Echoes app uses GPS and geolocated sounds, so once you've launched the walk in the app, you don't need to do anything – just use the on-screen map to identify where the audio files are located. As soon as you're in range, the audio will automatically play on your device.
The audio files are shown on the screen with blue areas and a pin to show where you are in real time. However, there are also some hidden audio files that do not appear on the map!

What kind of audio?
Each stop on the walk consists of one or more audio files created specifically for that location. You will meet the imaginary characters that live there and interact with them and learn from them through games and group activities.
All the text, voices, sounds and music were created and produced by us at silent.move.

When:
The walk is free and can be taken at any time during the opening hours of the Britzer Garden. You can find the opening hours HERE.

Duration:
There are almost 30 stations with over 45 different audio files as part of the Children's Audio Walk! Please do NOT try to visit every sound on the map! It's too much for a single visit.
The idea behind the walk is to offer families and children something special and to encourage them to explore ALL parts of the garden. We recommend selecting 2 to 4 areas each time you visit to help structure your time.

Language:
The walk is currently only available in German.
Starting point:
The children's audio walk has no set order and can be started at any of the garden's six entrances.
